Perfectly Preserved

Almost a CASE…..

This is another card that we made at my stamp class a couple of weeks ago.  I started out by looking at some past issues of Stampin’ Success for inspiration and found a card that I liked in the August issue.  (In case you don’t know, Stampin’ Success is the magazine that the Stampin’ Up! demonstrators receive monthly.  It’s full of ideas and inspiration as well as stories about demonstrators and news about the company). I ended up using some of the same colors, but my layout is somewhat different.  But that’s the beauty of being inspired by something and then putting your own spin on it!  I was happy with the way it turned out.

The Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set is one of those stamp sets that just didn’t hit me as a "I’ve got to have that stamp set" set.  But, after going to convention this year and seeing all the cute samples, I caved in and bought it!  🙂   So, of course I had to use it for one of the cards at my class!  And I love, the cute little circle scallop punch that’s in the Holiday Catalog…don’t you?  It turned out to be a perfect fit for the "happy birthday" image from the "Made For You" stamp set.

Here’s the card from the Stampin’ Success magazine:

  1. You’ve been busy! And the cards are very pretty!!! I felt the same way about this set until I started to see the things others were making and then I had to have it, too.
