Halloween TreatsOct 31st, 2010 | By Wanda | Category: Announcements, archives, Recent Posts
I wanted to make a little something special for some of the neighborhood kids this year, so I made each of them a little Halloween treat bag, using the Big Shot and the Fancy Favor box die. I was able to stuff several pieces of candy in these and then also decorated a bag filled with the makings for a ghostly smore – graham cracker, chocolate bar and marshmallow ghost for each of them! I made nine of each – what fun!
The Happy Halloween image is from the Stampin’ Up! House of Haunts (#111574) stamp set in the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog and the Designer Label Punch was a perfect fit. There’s nothing like Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Paper and the Wicked Fun Specialty DSP fit the bill perfectly for these. The verse on the tag of the smore bag is from a single stamp a friend of mine brought over when we assembled the ghost bags – she had seen the idea for the smore’s at a craft store in Wisconsin recently, so we thought we’d put some together. It was the perfect Halloween treat for JoAnn to make for her grade school students, too!
