Stampin’ Up! Leadership 2010

DAY 1
I’m so excited to be attending my first Stampin’ Up! Leadership meeting! This year, it’s being held in Phoenix, Arizona….what a great change of pace (and weather!) from the Chicago area. We’re certainly enjoying the mild temperatures and sunshine.
One of the benefits of having a Stampin’ Up! team (people that have signed up under me to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator) is having the option to attend Leadership. This conference is packed with great ideas for building your business and working with your team. I arrived late Tuesday evening, and yesterday morning was check-in, picking up our gorgeous bags (which included a free stamp set, pen and pin for Leadership), and going to Momento Mall. Momento Mall is our opportunity to purchase Stampin Up! logo items – either items to wear or otherwise – and sometimes certain items are only available during the event (and often are sold out during the event). These first pictures were taken as we passed by the windows on the way into Momento Mall….we were able to "window shop"! This first picture shows the recycleable Stampin’ Up! bags.
Just part of the line into Momento Mall!
A pic of me with my lovely bag.
Beach towels and flip flops! Can you see what’s on the bottom of the flip flops? Think…walking in the sand and leaving an imprint of "Stampin’ Up!" all over the place! What a great way to advertise!
Love this card tree!
Lovely new Stampin’ Up! sweater.
I love how this car was decorated with Decor Elements! The car was sitting in the middle of the Momento Mall area.
My roommate Lisa and my Leadership bags (on the outside) and purchases from Momento Mall!
After shopping, Lisa and I attended a hands-on class featuring My Digital Studio where we picked up some new tips on using this awesome software. In the afternoon, we made several make & takes and enjoyed meeting new people. Part of the fun is meeting other demonstrators from all over the country, swapping cards with them and just talking about their experiences as a demonstrator and gettng ideas for helping to build teams and building your business.
My roommate Lisa…we made these cute little milk cartons during the Make & Take session.
Lisa Lange and me at the Make & Take session and stylin’ with our flower pins. Lisa made them – aren’t they beautiful?
While the Make & Take session was going on, there were four demonstrator booths in the same area (the Gathering place) highlighting ideas for using Sale-A-Bration products, kits from the Occasions Mini, décor stencils, and using the Sizzix Big Shot with fabric. There were so many fabulous ideas, and I tried to capture some of them through pictures. I’ll have more to add after this.
Beautiful Easter eggs that Patty Bennett demonstrated – gotta love the bling added by using the adhesive-backed rhinestones that come in the Eggcellent Egg kit. Patty had SO many ideas for using this delightful kit!

‘ll be adding more about our Leadership experience soon! Thanks for visiting!
