Big Shot Pennant Die

Card Banner

I recently had an opportunity to sell cards at a local event along with my friend and upline, Melissa and another friend, Trisha (who just signed up to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator this past week!)  🙂    Since there were going to be other vendors there, I thought I would make a banner that spelled "Cards" for our display.  We had been asked to be at this event for Christian women and have cards that would be uplifting to others.  We had a great time!

I used both the small and large Big Shot pennant die and used a combination of the Autumn Vine DSP and Juntos DSP to make it.   The large pennant was wheeled using Versamark and the "It’s Beautiful" jumbo wheel to provide a subtle pattern for the background. The letters used were the On Board Simon Upper and I sponged them with More Mustard Craft ink, using a sponge dauber.  After snailing the pennants in place, Mini Glue dots were used to attach the letters.  I placed jumbo brads in the top corner of each pennant and threaded the new Alpine felt ribbon through each pennant to hang the banner.  It was a fun project to do and it went fairly quickly….just had to wait for the letters to dry!  Here’s some info on the Alpine ribbon if you’re interested – click on the ribbon to go to the online catalog:
